How to Create an Account?

1.) Download the KokTailz app for Android or iOS.
2.) Tap Create Account.
3.) Enter your Name, email, phone number, password and verify it.
4.) Connect your Apple, Google, or Facebook account to skip step number 3.
5.) Set up your profile.
6.) Allow KokTailz access to all required permissions.

How to Verify My Profile?

1.) Tap on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) Tap Account Verification.
3.) Follow the directions on the screen, and tap verify to submit your picture for account approval.
4.) If you receive an email and message saying your submission was denied. Simply try again. Make sure your picture is clear, and the verification code submitted with your selfie matches the one that was assigned to you.
Once approved, you will be notified by email and text. You also will receive a “Blue Check” next to your name, for other users to see that you are a verified account. Approval normally takes 24-hours.

How do I edit my profile?

1.) To edit profile, tap on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) Tap my profile at the top of the account list.
3.) Tap edit profile at the top right of the screen.
4.) From this screen, you have multiple options to update your photos, edit your bio, edit your interests, likes and dislikes, add your work and school info, update age, change ethnicity, change your height, and choose your sexual orientation.

How do I update my email / phone number / password?

1.) Tap on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) After being directed to the account screen, tap on settings.
3.) Once on the settings screen, under notifications tap login settings.
4.) Under login settings, you now have multiple options to change / update your email, password, and phone number.

How do I delete / deactivate my account?

1.) Tap on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) After being directed to the account screen, tap on settings.
3.) Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the screen where it says Account.
4.) Under Account, you have the option to tap Deactivate account or Delete account.
5.) After Taping on deactivate / delete, follow the prompts, and confirm your decision.

How do I resend Verification code?

To resend a verification for email or phone number. Simply tap on Resend Code / Resend Email / Resend SMS at the bottom right of the Email or SMS Verification Code Box. (Also check you spam / junk mail for the verification code).

How do I reset password?

1.) At the login screen, tap Forgot Password below the enter your password field box.
2.) Enter your registered email or registered phone number and tap submit at the bottom of the screen.
3.) Once you have received the reset password code, insert the code, and enter your new password.
4.) Confirm your new password and press submit.
5.) Go login with your new password using your registered email or registered phone number.

How do I adjust my search preferences to control who I see, and control who I allow to see my profile?

1.) While on the home screen, tap on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) After being directed to your user account, tap Ingredients.
3.) Change your age preference.
4.) Change your gender preference.
5.) Change who you allow to see your profile.
6.) Change your search criteria in miles / distance from your current location.
7.) Change your height preference.
8.) update your body type, ethnicity, and sexual orientation.
9.) Don’t forget to press save.
10.) You can also delete the selected body type, ethnicity, and sexual orientation if you do not want that to be a part of your search criteria by tapping the trash can icon to the right of the selected field.

How do I browse profiles without showing I’m online?

Make sure your phone settings are set to give KokTailz app permission to access your Location!
1.) Tap on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) After being directed to the account screen, tap on settings.
3.) Once on the settings page, look under privacy and location settings.
4.) You can turn your online status on / off from My Visibility.

How do I hide my location from other users?

Make sure your phone settings are set to give KokTailz app permission to access your Location!
1.) Tap on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) After being directed to the account screen, tap on settings.
3.) Once on the settings page, look under privacy and location settings.
4.) You can choose to show or not show your location from Location.

How do I hide my radius & distance from other users?

Make sure your phone settings are set to give KokTailz app permission to access your Location!
1.) Tap on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) After being directed to the account screen, tap on settings.
3.) Once on the settings page, look under privacy and location settings.
4.) You can choose to show or not show your distance from other users from Radius & Distance.

How do I turn on / off my GPS for when I want to clink or not clink with other users while I’m out?

Make sure your phone settings are set to give KokTailz app permission to access your Location!
1.) Tap on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) After being directed to the account screen, tap on settings.
3.) Once on the settings page, look under privacy and location settings.
4.) You can choose to clink or not clink with other users while you’re out by turning your GPS on / off.

How do I update my Location?

Make sure your phone settings are set to give KokTailz app permission to access your Location!
Your location is updated automatically with your phone permissions that you allowed KokTailz to have. To make sure your location is updated,
1.) Tap on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) After being directed to the account screen, tap on settings.
3.) Once on the settings page, scroll down to My current location.
4.) your current location should already be showing. if not then click on Update Location.
5.) If location still does not update, go to your phone settings, and allow KokTailz permission to access your location.
6.) Repeat steps 1 – 4.

How do I change my notifications, push notifications, and email notifications settings?

1.) Tap on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) After being directed to the account screen, tap on settings.
3.) Now on the settings screen, tap Push Notifications at the very top.
4.) Now you can choose which features, functions, and actions you would like to receive phone notifications for. You can also have the notifications sent to your email.
5.) Also, if you Scroll down to the bottom of the page, you can turn on / off in-app sounds and vibrations. Which is there to enhance your notification experience.

How do I View a user profile?

There are multiple ways to View a user profile by clicking on their picture from the home screen, message screen, match screen, questions screen and clinked screen.

How do I Like a profile?

1.) Like a profile by clicking the Heart Icon on the screen.
2.) Like a profile by swiping the screen to the right.

How do Toast a profile?

1.) Toast a profile by clicking the Toasting Glasses Icon on the screen.
2.) Toast a profile by swiping up on the screen.

How do I Dislike / nope a profile?

1.) Dislike a profile my clicking the X Icon on the screen.
2.) Dislike a profile by Swiping the screen to the left.

How do I rewind / go back to a previous profile?

Rewind / go back to previous profiles by clicking on the Circle Arrow Icon on the screen (This feature requires a subscription package or cherries).

How do I send users questions without matching?

KokTailz have an amazing feature that allows users to talk to potential matches before matching. We have multiple pre-selected questions that you can send any user for them to answer to see if they are a potential match.
1.) On the Home Screen while browsing profiles, click on the Pink Question Mark Icon.
2.) Check the questions you would like to have that specific user answer and press send.
3.) You can always check the questions you received from other users and check the answers to the questions you have sent other users by clicking the Gray Question Mark Icon at the bottom of the navigation screen.

How do I find and answer my received questions from other users?

1.) You can always check the questions you received from other users and check the answers to the questions you have sent other users by clicking the Gray Question Mark Icon at the bottom of the navigation screen.
2.) To answer your questions, tap received and click on any user to view their question.
3.) Read the question, type in your answer and press Send.

How do I match with users?

1) Users Match by liking each other.
2.) A match can be done with a like or toast.
3.) When a match is done, you will receive a notification on your phone and by email.
4.) After a match is done, users can message each other, audio call each other and video chat with each other, all from the app.
5.) This feature helps keep your information private by not providing your direct number or personal information in the beginning.

How do I send a User a message before matching?

1.) To send a user a message before matching, you can click on a user picture while browsing the feed to be directed to their profile.
2.) Click on the orange message icon at the bottom left of the user picture.
3.) Send your message in the messenger.

How do I send a User a message after matching?

1.) To send a user a message after matching, you can click on the Message Icon at the bottom of the app navigation screen.
2.) Click on any user you matched / toasted with.
3.) Once you are on their profile, click on the orange message icon at the bottom left of the user picture.
4.) Send your message in the messenger.

How do I delete Messages?

1.) There is an arrow icon next to the message. Delete message by swiping it all the way to the left.
2.) Tap and hold anywhere on the message and slide it to the left to show the red delete button.
3.) Tap the Red Delete button.

How do I Video Chat with a User before matching?

1.) To video chat with a user before matching, you can click on a user picture while browsing the feed to be directed to their profile.
2.) Click on the orange message icon at the bottom left of the user picture.
3.) Click on the Video Recorder Icon at the top right of the messenger screen.
4.) Be sure your phone settings allow KokTailz app to have access to your camera and microphone.

How do I Video Chat with a User after matching?

1.) To video chat with a user after matching, you can click on the Message Icon at the bottom of the app navigation screen.
2.) Click on any user you matched / toasted with.
3.) Once you are on their profile, Click on the orange message icon at the bottom left of the user picture.
4.) Click on the Video Recorder Icon at the top right of the messenger screen.
5.) Be sure your phone settings allow KokTailz app to have access to your camera and microphone.

How do I start an Audio Call with a User before matching?

1.) To start an audio call with a user before matching, you can click on a user picture while browsing the feed to be directed to their profile.
2.) Click on the orange message icon at the bottom left of the user picture.
3.) Click on the Phone Icon at the top right of the messenger screen.
4.) Be sure your phone settings allow KokTailz app to have access to your microphone.

How do I start an Audio Call with a User after matching?

1.) To start an audio call with a user after matching, you can click on the Message Icon at the bottom of the app navigation screen.
2.) Click on any user you matched / toasted with.
3.) Once you are on their profile, Click on the orange message icon at the bottom left of the user picture.
4.) Click on the Phone Icon at the top right of the messenger screen.
5.) Be sure your phone settings allow KokTailz app to have access to your microphone.

How do I set up a date?

1.) Click on the user you would like to set up a date with.
2.) Click on the user picture from the home screen, questions section, or the messages / matches / Likes / Toasted section.
3.) Once you are on their profile, Click on the orange message icon at the bottom left of the user picture.
4.) If you clicked on their profile picture from the message section, then you can skip step 3.

5.) Click on the Calendar Icon at the top right of the messenger screen.
6.) Choose an activity, Coffee, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Walk or Drinks.
7.) After either user accepts the activity. You can suggest a time and date.
8.) Then Select a Restaurant.
9.) After both users agrees on time, date and restaurant, the date is now set!

Where are all my scheduled dates?

1.) Tap on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) After being directed to the Account Menu, tap on Dates.
3.) You can now view all you scheduled dates.

How do I Unmatch with another user?

1.) To unmatch with a user, click on the Message Icon at the bottom of the app navigation screen.
2.) Once directed to the Messages Screen, click on the user picture you would like to Unmatch with, located under the Toasted and Matches sections.
3.) Once on the user profile, tap the 3 small vertical dots located at the top right of the user profile.
4.) Tap Unmatch.
5.) Share the reason for your decision to unmatch with user and tap continue.
6.) After you unmatch with user, they will go back in your potential match feed.

How do I Block A User?

1.) Click on the user picture from the home screen, questions section, or the messages / matches / Likes / Toasted section.
2.) Once on the user profile, tap the 3 small vertical dots located at the top right of the user profile.
3.) Tap Block.
4.) Share the reason for your decision to block user and tap continue.
5.) After you block user. This is a permanent action, and neither user will be able to see each other.

How do I Report A User?

1.) Click on the user picture from the home screen, questions section, or the messages / matches / Likes / Toasted section.
2.) Once on the user profile, tap the 3 small vertical dots located at the top right of the user profile.
3.) Tap Report.
4.) Share the reason for your decision to report user and tap continue.
5.) After you report user. You will still be able to see them in your feed and they will be able to see you as well! (We do not share that you have reported them).

What are Subscriptions?

Subscriptions are drink packages that you can buy to enhance your experience on KokTailz. Unlocking these features allows you to have access to everything KokTailz has to offer increasing your chances of finding a perfect companion. You can choose to subscribe weekly, monthly, or yearly and cancel anytime.

What are Cherries?

Cherries are AKA coins, (in app – purchases) that you could buy to enhance your experience on KokTailz. Instead of getting a subscription, you can buy cherries and have access to the same features as subscriptions users. However, these features cost different amounts of cherries to access and don’t provide you with unlimited usage like the weekly, monthly, and yearly subscriptions. Cherries do not expire like subscriptions, and you can use them whenever you want.

How do I purchase a subscription or cherries?

1.) Tap on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) Once you are directed to the account page, tap on subscription.
3.) Tab on My subscription and choose which subscription you want or how many cherries you need.
4.) Follow your apple or google store purchasing procedure.

Unlimited Likes

Users only get to send 36 likes on free version and then must wait 12 hours before liking again. Get unlimited likes with any subscription or use 5 cherries for every extra like.

Rewind

If you accidentally passed on someone you wanted to get to know, Use Rewind to bring their profile back by tapping an "arrow icon" on the main screen. Get unlimited rewinds with any subscription or use 5 cherries for every rewind.

Six Toasts

Non-subscribers can only do 3 toasts and then have to wait 12 hours before toasting again. Get up to 6 Toast with any subscription or use 15 cherries for every extra toast.

Highlighted Profile

Access this feature by tapping the lighting bolt in the middle of main home screen at the top. Be seen by more people as we put your profile at the top of the algorithm. You can have your profile Highlighted for up to 24 hours. Any Subscription allows you to boost your profile for 72 hours. 50 cherries allows you to boost your profile for 24 hours.

Travel The World

Allows you to like, match and chat with others around the world by simply searching for a country, state, and city.
1.) Access this feature by tapping on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) After being directed to the account page, tap settings, and scroll down to Travel the world and tap Browse Profiles.
3.) Select any country, state, and city to travel the world to view other profiles.
Access this amazing feature with any subscription, or travel using 25 cherries.

No Ads

Any subscription removes ads from your browsing experience.

Viewed Profile

The Frozen & Straight up subscription allows you to receive unlimited notifications showing you who just viewed your profile, or use 20 cherries to open up every notification to see who just viewed your profile.

See who Likes You

lets you see who liked & Toasted you, creating a quicker match. The Frozen & Straight up subscription allows you to receive unlimited notifications showing you all the people that liked you, or use 20 cherries to open up every notification to see who liked your profile.

Send A Message Before Matching

The Frozen & Straight up subscription allows users to send unlimited messages to people on their feed without matching. Fantastic way to be bold and start a conversation or use 30 cherries for every message you send to another user without matching.

Start An Audio / Video Chat

Straight up subscription allows users to start an audio or video chat with people on their feed without matching or use 50 cherries for every audio or video chat you start with another user without matching.

Read Messages

Straight up subscription allows you to see when your messages have been read by other users in the messenger.

Longer Video Upload

Straight up subscription allows you to upload up to a 10 second video for your profile or use 20 cherries.
NOTE: Free version allows up to a 6 second video.

Priority Profile

Straight up subscription makes sure your profile is seen 1st by potential matches before the profiles of non-subscribers.

People you liked

Straight up subscription gives you access to the full list of people you have sent likes and toast to in the last 7 days. A Wonderful way to go back and start a conversation with somebody you may be really interested in.

Subscription Renewal

All KokTailz subscriptions are on “auto-renew”. This means that you will automatically be charged on a recurring basis. For example, if you purchase a 6-month On The Rocks subscription, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of that 6-month period.

You must cancel your subscription prior to your auto-renew date to avoid additional charges. Cancellation steps will vary based on your device, so make sure you are following the steps that apply to you. Deleting your KokTailz account will not cancel your subscription renewal.

Restoring purchases

Restoring purchases prevents you from losing all the things that have been purchased on other devices. All you need to do is sign in with your Apple ID or Google Account credentials and you could restore your purchases.

Restoring your purchase will not initiate a new transaction; it will only reapply any pre-existing purchases.

KokTailz subscriptions On The Rocks, Frozen, and Straight Up are in-app purchases that can be restored at any time.

Cherries are the only kind of purchase that can't be restored. Cherries are in-app purchases that are meant to be used once.

To restore a purchase, simply login to your Registered KokTailz account.
1.) Tap on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) Once you are directed to the account page, tap on subscription.
3.) Tap on My subscription and choose which subscription you want to restore.
4.) Follow your apple or google store purchasing procedure.

How do I Cancel Subscription and Delete Account?

The steps to canceling your subscription will vary based on the platform you used to subscribe (iOS, Android).
NOTE: Deleting the KokTailz app will not cancel your subscription. If you want to delete your account and / or KokTailz subscription, follow the steps below.

To delete your account,
1.) Tap on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) After being directed to the account screen, tap on settings.
3.) Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the screen where it says Account.
4.) Under Account, you have the option to tap Deactivate account or Delete account.
5.) After Taping on delete / deactivate, follow the prompts, and confirm your decision.

To cancel your subscription on IOS,
1.) Open your iPhone Settings.
2.) Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
3.) Select the subscription you want to cancel. (KokTailz)
4.) Tap Cancel Subscription.

To cancel your subscription on ANDRIOD,
1.) Go to play.google.com
2.) Click on your profile picture to open the drop-down menu.
3.) Scroll down and tap payments & subscriptions.
4.) Select the subscription you want to cancel. (KokTailz)
5.) Click Manage and Cancel Subscription.

Trouble with account deletion?

If this doesn't work, contact Apple Customer Support or Google Play Support. We are unable to cancel subscriptions processed by Apple and Google, but they should be able to help!

Can I upgrade my current KokTailz subscription?

If you are interested in upgrading subscription, you can do so within the app.
1.) Tap on your profile icon at the top left of the app navigation screen.
2.) Once you are directed to the account page, tap on subscription.
3.) Tab on My subscription and choose which subscription you want to upgrade to.
4.) Follow your apple or google store purchasing procedure.

On iPhone,
Once you upgrade, changes to your subscription will occur within 24 hours or less and you will be charged for your new KokTailz subscription immediately. Apple should issue a refund for the remaining time that you had left on your previous subscription.

On Android,
Once you upgrade, changes to your subscription will be made immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount (the difference in price between the subscriptions) and changes to your subscription will be made immediately. You’ll keep your original subscription renewal date, and continue to be charged for the new subscription.
